About Me
I was born in Lovelock, NV, and spent my early years in Reno, exploring the vast desert landscapes with my sisters. My deep appreciation for the outdoors led me to Quincy, California, where I raised my family and pursued my studies in Forestry and Watershed. It was during this time that I first discovered my love for watercolor painting and photography.
After moving to Paradise, California, I further refined my artistic skills, earning a Fine Arts Certificate in Ceramics at Butte College. In 2016, I returned to Reno and continued my education at Truckee Meadows Community College, obtaining an Associate in Arts in 2019. Today, I work in a photography gallery, where I dedicate my time to creating art that reflects the breathtaking landscapes, wildlife, and natural beauty that inspire me.
My Artistic Process
My creative process is deeply connected to my love for the outdoors. I spend much of my time exploring landscapes, capturing stunning wildlife photography, and finding inspiration for my next painting. My works are primarily watercolor or pastel, but I also enjoy experimenting with mixed media. Sometimes, I blend multiple photographs to create a truly unique scene, bringing together elements from different moments to tell a cohesive story.
