My name is Teri Chernoff, and I am the owner and founder of this creative space. As both a painter and photographer, I embrace a bold and courageous approach in all my work. My art is deeply personal—I “take heart” and paint from the very center of my being. Guided by my innermost feelings and inclinations, I create from a place of passion and authenticity. This heartfelt approach is also the inspiration behind the name, “LionHeartedArt.”

Finding Inspiration in Nature and Travel

Travel and nature are the cornerstones of my inspiration. Whether it’s a camping trip under the stars or a road trip through breathtaking landscapes, I find endless beauty in the world around me. My favorite subjects to capture and paint include landscapes and wildlife, bringing the essence of the natural world into my art. I often work from photographs, using my imagination to blend multiple images into a single, unique composition.

My Expertise

My primary painting medium is watercolor, though I also create pieces using acrylics. One of my greatest joys is painting animals, and I specialize in custom pet portraits. With a keen attention to detail, I can bring your beloved pet to life on canvas. In addition to my nature and wildlife art, I also paint prophetically. Inspired by scripture and led by the Holy Spirit, I strive to visually portray the Word of God through my paintings. Each piece is infused with meaning and intention, reflecting divine inspiration and spiritual depth.
